DISNEY'S HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS

Blast 0 to 60 mph in 2.8 seconds as the music of Aerosmith rocks you through a wild, twisting roller coaster road trip. Then, sit back and let the magic and music of Disney's Beauty and the beast take your breath away in a completely different way. Next up? Try a visit with Jo Jo, Bear, Stanley and all their friends from Playhouse Disney! then, as the sun sets, cheer on Mickey Mouse as he goes face-to-face with the fiercest Disney villains in the nighttime spectacular, Fantasmic!

HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS

Walt Disney first had the idea for a park based on the movies more than 40 years ago, but it wasn't until May 1989 that the Walt Disney Company unveiled the Disney-Hollywood Studios, where guests of Walt Disney World can witness the inner workings of living, breathing movie and television production facilities.

NOW OPEN - TOY STORY MANIA!

Step right up and compete in an interactive 4-D "Toy Story" adventure like no other. It's Toy Story Mania!— a brand-new attraction inspired by Disney•Pixar's "Toy Story" films.

You'll grab some 3-D glasses before boarding your ride vehicle and zipping off into a world of immersive, midway-style games. Highlights include the following:

Games are hosted by favorite characters including Woody, Buzz, Rex and Hamm! Your spring-action shooter will launch virtual darts at balloons, rings at aliens, eggs at barnyard targets and more! Certain targets trigger fun surprises. You can compete for the high score. It's never the same experience twice and is another great reason to visit during The Year of a Million Dreams!

LIGHTS, MOTORS, ACTION! EXTREME STUNT SHOW!
Get ready for extreme thrills as this full-throttle, high-octane live stunt spectacular comes roaring in from Disneyland® Resort Paris. Engines rev, tires screech and adrenaline kicks into overdrive as a series of highly orchestrated stunts, specially designed cars, motorcycles and jet skis and amazing pyrotechnics give you a behind-the-scenes look at how action stunts are created for the movies.

ROCK 'N' ROLLER COASTER STARRING AEROSMITH

Rock 'n' Roller Coaster - From the pre-show area, you're ushered into what appears to be a darkened back alleyway, where you await a "Super Stretch" limo. The 24-passenger limo screeches to a halt in front of you and you board, securing yourself with a padded u-bar. After a few moments of excruciating build-up, you are finally launched into the wild ride, swiftly accelerating into the imagined Hollywood night to the pulsating Aerosmith music. The enclosed coaster ride is quite dark, so that you can't make out what twists or turns are ahead of you, but it does feature individually lit Southern California landmarks, such as signs for Hollywood and the famous Roxy Theatre.

THE TWILIGHT ZONE TOWER OF TERROR
Looming ominously at the end of Sunset Boulevard is the rundown Hollywood Tower Hotel, home to one of the premiere thrill rides at Disney-Hollywood Studios - The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. Enhanced recently, the Tower of Terror now sends guests plummeting again and again and again -- a far cry from the ride that debuted in July 1994 with only one big drop. This exhilarating ride lives up to its name, as well as its new slogan: Fear every drop!

Backlot Tour (Catastrophe Canyon) - Minimum age 3 to ride. Warning. Guests with health restrictions and mothers to be may wish to bypass the ride. Great Movie Ride - Special effects may be too intense for children and some adults

Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith - Must be 48 tall. High Speed (3 inverts) Coaster. Warning! For safety, you should be in good health and free from high blood pressure, heart, back or neck problems, motion sickness, or other conditions that could be aggravated by this adventure. Warning: Expectant mothers should not ride.

Star Tours© Disney/Lucasfilm, Inc. - Must be at least 40 inches tall to ride. Warning: Guests with health restrictions and mothers to be may wish to bypass the ride.

The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror™ - Must be at least 40 inches tall to ride. Warning: Cannot suffer from any neck, back, or heart problems. Cannot suffer from motion sickness or claustrophobia! Wheelchair guests must be able to walk in unassisted and possess full upper-body control. Pregnant women may not ride.

Play 'n' Dine at Hollywood & Vine

Sing, dance and play along with your Disney Playhouse pals. Join JoJo and Goliath from "JoJo's Circus" and June and Leo from "Disney's Little Einsteins™" for a magical, musical meal for kids and kids at heart. Enjoy a delicious breakfast or lunch — full of surprises. A bountiful buffet is perfect for the whole family, featuring Mickey waffles and house-made pastries in the morning, and kid-friendly and grown-up fare in the afternoon. It's a yummy togetherness treat! Q. What are the Theme Parks' operating hours?

A. Operating hours vary greatly from Park to Park at different times of the year. Visit Calendar to get the operating hours for the Theme Parks.

Q. What are the current ticket prices?

A. The Official Ticket Center offers a wide variety of tickets customized to the many different needs and desires of the guests. Visit Tickets and Reservations to find the ticket that's right for you.

Q. Where can we meet Disney Characters?

A. Character dining is available all around the Walt Disney World Resort. Visit Dining Finder to find out more about sharing meals with your favorite Disney Characters.

Q. What attractions are currently not operating?

A. To provide Walt Disney World Guests, with the highest quality experience, attraction maintenance is occasionally necessary. Please visit the Calendar and check out "Operational Updates."

Q. What ride restrictions are there?

A. Some of the attractions at Walt Disney World Resort have ride restrictions to ensure Guests' safety. Typical safety restrictions include height restrictions, health and safety advisories and accessibility guidelines. These restrictions and advisories are listed on the individual attraction pages throughout the site.

Q. Is a post office or other location available for shipping my purchases?

A. Certainly. For your convenience, there are locations at each Theme Park where you can ship packages. Locations are: Magic Kingdom: Package Pick-Up, Main Street U.S.A. Epcot: Package Pick-Up, at Entrance Plaza and International Gateway Entrance. Disney's Hollywood Studios™: Package Pick-Up, left of front gates before exiting the Park. Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park: Package Pick-Up, located at Garden Gate Gifts.

Q. Which attractions are open during Extra Magic Hours?

Q. What type of ticket do I need to take advantage of the Extra Magic Hours benefit?

A. In addition to being a Disney Resort guest, a valid Theme park ticket is required. To get the most out of the Extra Magic Hours benefit, add the Park Hopper® Option for optimal flexibility. If you do not have the Park Hopper® Option and would like to take advantage of the Extra Magic Hours Benefit, your Theme Park selection must be the Park offering the Extra Magic Hours benefit that day. Remember, without the Park Hopper® Option, you can only visit one Theme Park per day. Please plan ahead and check the schedule.

To take advantage of Extra Magic Hours at the Water Parks, you must have a Resort I.D. and the Water Park Fun & More Option on your Magic Your Way Ticket or a One Day Water Park Ticket for the Park offering the Extra Magic Hours benefit that day. Back to top

Q. What credentials do I need to take advantage of the evening Extra Magic Hours benefit?

A. A valid theme park ticket and Resort I.D. are required. For the evening Extra Magic Hours benefit, you also need to use your Resort I.D. to pick up a wristband at select locations in the Theme Park (Note: Resort I.D.s required for each member of your party). Wristbands may be picked up at select locations in the Theme Park that is open for Extra Magic Hours no sooner than two hours before regular park closing. Wristbands are not needed for the morning Extra Magic Hours benefit.

Q. What is the best way to dress for a day at the Parks? Is there any clothing that isn't permissible?

A. The Parks are a casual, family-oriented environment. We suggest you dress comfortably, wear good walking shoes and check the local weather report before you leave for the Parks. It is an important part of the Disney experience that the Parks are family-friendly. In that spirit, we ask you to use your discretion and common sense regarding your attire in the Parks. Attire that is not appropriate for the Theme Parks (and which may result in refusal of admittance) includes, but is not limited to:

Masks (unless you are dressing up for a particular event) Easily visible obscene or objectionable language or graphics Clothing which, by nature, exposes excessive portions of the skin that may be viewed as inappropriate for a family environment Objectionable tattoos Back to top

Q. Are there any personal items I should not bring with me into the Theme Parks?

A. Items that you may not bring into the Theme Parks include, but are not limited to:

Items with wheels, such as wagons, skateboards, scooters, inline skates, shoes with built-in wheels, two-wheeled or three-wheeled conveyances, strollers larger than 36" x 52", suitcases, coolers, or backpacks with or without wheels larger than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high (coolers required for medication may be stored in a locker or at Guest Relations), and any trailer-like object that is pushed or towed by an ECV wheelchair or stroller Alcoholic beverages Weapons of any kind Folding chairs Glass containers (excluding baby food jars and perfume bottles) Pets (unless they are service animals) In Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park (for the safety of the wildlife), balloons, straws and drink lids are not permitted.

Note: Guests are not permitted to pull items behind them. Any item that requires a Guest to pull it behind them, including a stroller, is not permitted into the Park.
