FROZEN ARCTIC WONDERLAND
This icy habitat is home to four species of penguins: king, gentoo, chinstrap and rockhopper. The air is a chilly 30 degrees and the water an icy 45 degrees. 6,000 pounds of snow fall daily inside the naturalistic habitat at Sea Wolrd. The habitat is reminiscent of the primitive Antarctic with its rocky cliffs and icy waters.  You'll enter a frozen wonderland with walls of ice nearly a half-inch thick. Exploring this multi-level ecosystem, you'll encounter abundant Arctic animal life seemingly drawn to the old ship. This includes coming face-to-face with real walruses, beluga whales, and two famous polar bears named Klondike and Snow. Height Requirement : 42 inches

SHAMU'S HAPPY HARBOR RIDES

Fun for the whole pod. Shamu’s Happy Harbor is just the sort of place that proves there’s never been a cooler time to be a kid. The family-friendly Shamu Express—a great first coaster—and imaginative rides like Jazzie Jellies and Swishy Fishies bring out the kid in everyone. Even toddlers have a special play area thoughtfully designed just for them.  Shamu’s Happy Harbor rides and attractions include the following:

Shamu Express-

Modeled after SeaWorld's famous killer whale, this family-oriented roller coaster will gently thrill you and your children in killer-whale-themed cars. The whole family can ride Shamu. Height requirement: 38 inches

Sea Carousel-

Adding a clasical element to Shamu's Happy Harbor, a marine-themed masterpiece topped by a behemoth 45-foot-wide pink octopus. Riders board a colorful collection of 65 sea creatures including giant exotic fish, sea lions, otters, sharks and dolphins, and "float" up and down as the carousel revolves to the sounds of the sea. Jazzy Jellies-

The Flying Fiddler-

A giant, bright-red fiddler crab with illuminated eyes that move, fills its belly with 12 children and adults and lifts them to more than 20 feet in the air. Animals are comedians, too. This hilarious show features the talents of a menagerie of dogs, cats, birds, rats, skunks, potbellied pigs, and other animals performing a series of amazing skits. You’ll see more than 100 animal athletes show off their soaring, flipping, jumping, high-wire walking, dune buggy riding, and other skills — all with a comical twist.  Most impressive is that nearly all of these four-legged celebs were rescued from animal shelters before they found their fame at SeaWorld. General Park Information

Location: Intersection of Interstate 4 and FL 528 (Bee Line Expressway), 10 minutes south of downtown Orlando and 15 minutes from Orlando International Airport.

Park hours: Open year-round at 9 a.m. with extended hours during summer and holidays. Allow a full day to see all shows and attractions.

Parking: Nearly 6,700 spaces are available for vehicles. Spaces are available to cars and motorcycles for $10.00 - recreational vehicles for $12.00. Preferred parking available for $15.00. Platinum Passport members receive complimentary preferred parking. Gold and Silver Passport members can park in general lots for free, and pay only $7.00 for preferred parking.

ID policy for Children:

If my child is a minor (under the age of 18) do they have to present a photo ID to enter the park? No, minors (children under the age of 18) do not need to present a photo ID to enter the park.

Guest Services Information Center:

The Information Center is located just inside the park to the right of the Main Entrance. Team members can assist you with the following:   Visitor information (hotels, campsites, points of interest) Guides for guests with disabilities Show information Travel assistance Lost and found Lost children's center General park information and assistance.

Lockers:

Lockers are located inside the Main Entrance of the park behind Shamu's Emporium for a rental fee $6.00 for a small lockers or $8.00 for a large locker. Lockers are also available near Journey to Atlantis and Kraken for a rental fee of $.50. All lockers are one time use rentals. Diaper-changing and baby-nursing areas, first-aid, foreign currency exchange, 24-hour automated teller machine, taxi and bus parking may be found on-site.

Accessibility Guide:

Wheelchair/Stroller Rental Wheelchair access is provided at all shows and attractions. For safety reasons all strollers must be parked outside of most exhibits and attractions. SeaWorld is not responsible for strollers or their contents left unattended in the park. Guest must be 18 years or older to rent.

Dining, Food, and Beverage Policy

Restaurants and concession stands are located conveniently throughout the park. Large hard or soft coolers, glass containers, food, drinks and picnic lunches may not be taken into the park. Guests with special diets, baby formula or baby food may bring their items into the park.

Smoking Policy

For the comfort and safety of all of our guests, smoking is permitted in the park in designated smoking areas only. These designated areas are conveniently located throughout the park and are clearly marked on park maps.

Security Procedures

SeaWorld Orlando security procedures may result in slight delays while entering the park. As a part of this process: All bags, backpacks, and packages are subject to inspection prior to entering the park. As a reminder, the following items are not permitted to be brought into SeaWorld for the safety of our animals and our guests: weapons, glass bottles, cans, any other type of sharp objects, straws, large hard or soft coolers, and any hazardous items or materials. Please leave any unnecessary articles secured within your vehicle to expedite your entry into the park. SeaWorld is not responsible for fire, theft, damage or loss of vehicle including articles left within.

Pet policy:

Located outside the main entrance, kennels are air-conditioned and staffed from park open until 1/2 hour after park close. The cost is $6.00 per day ($5.00 for Passport members - excluding Fun Cards). Park guests are required to bring pet food and to walk their pet (dogs only) during the day. You may bring a blanket for the pet's comfort. Please have a copy of your pet's shot record and updated rabies tag available when you drop your pet off. Kennels cannot be reserved in advance.

ATM and Credit Cards US Bank ATMs are located through out the park. MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover and JCB are accepted at all ticket booths, restaurants and gift shops with proper identification. Sorry, personal checks not accepted.
